There’s Something About A Sleeping Child …

August 2, 2009

Sleeping Child copy

Creating this post took me back to one of my all time favourite music – Sleeping Child by MLTR. Click here for the video and  the beautiful lyrics. I loved playing this song softly while I looked over my sister sleep back when we were kids. She definitely wasn’t a baby then but slept like one. 🙂

Having been recently gifted a Photoshop CS3 by my sweetheart, I P’shopped the original B/W pic (sourced from PhotoBucket) into the above.  The words in the picture are  inspired from our recent visit to see a newborn boy. 🙂

PS: Had totally forgotten about Friendship Day! I am so glad to have known you all. Here’s wishing our friendship grows with each passing day and gives us the joy, fun, strength and courage to deal with life’s mischief! 🙂 Happy Friendship Day!!

I know this may sound wierd, but i love the smell of baby’s mouth. When they get this strange urge to bite your nose u will definitely get a chance to smell them. i definitely agree with you… there is something about babies, sleeping or not…. [:)]

Yep, I love their gummy bites! 😉

Lovely poem thoughtful train. Can there be a more heart warming sight than a baby in blissful sleep. Especially with arms and legs bent like only a baby can.

Happy Friendship day to a special friend.

Thanks a million Ramesh. Your kind words never fail to encourage me to keep writing, (I must have told this like 15 million times already!!) A very happy friendship day to you too – wishing you many more friends who ll cherish you for what you are! 🙂
Arms and legs bent – yes, that is so irresistible in a sleeping baby. 🙂

had to add: chotu sleeps like this even now, with his mouth slightly ajar.. i can spend hours watching him sleep.. it has one of the most calming effects on my mind.. thanks so much for this post cookie

Yeah, I can imagine Chotu as the baby in the picture. In fact among a few other babies I thought of while doing this post, Chotu too crossed my mind. 🙂

Thats a lovely song of MLTR, and hey you have done a pretty neat job at the picture. The words (very inspiring) were inclined like in round shape. Happy Friendship day to you too 🙂

Hey Sri, welcome to my blog! I am glad you liked the song and my p’shop. 🙂 I used the Inflate effect on the words to make it look like a circle! Thanks for commenting! 🙂

I must say i have no idea what you mean whenever you state that. Potentially I personally a person might explain this for me greater. It’s not necessarily the same this is Japan. Asians perhaps find it a little in a different way. It’s my job to like to find the Oriental female viewpoint.
