There, a Dear Deer!! :-)

August 27, 2009

Life’s little moments are not always perfect but they rarely fail to make you smile.

We recently caught a deer eyeing us from the bushes. She looked so cute with spots of her brown peeping through the gaps in the foliage that we decided to snap a picture. But the lady was in no mood to pose, she took to her heels literally with her tail (almost) between her legs!

The picture is all blurred but it is amusing nonetheless, no? Just like life’s little moments! πŸ™‚

Have a good day folks!

PS: Thank you Appu, Shivya and Varun for the lovely awards! I have displayed them on the right side of the page for the world to see! πŸ™‚

      ooooo!a herd of themm?That must have really been a scene to watch!!J J J

They are such a pleasure to watch! But they are dangerous if they feel threatened, so its best to keep a safe distance from a herd of deers!

It is nice to have the animals symbolising innocence in close proximity. It is rather difficult to capture them in camera in the poses you want them
I was given a tip by one of my friend with regard to the photos from the glider, that I should have put my camera in the sport mode to get the image in clear focus , I think it is a good idea.I have not tried it out yet. In fact I think it is better to put camera in that mode always so that you can capture any freak scene immediately.

I think that is a good tip. But I think this photo has a charm for two reasons : one, the pose of the deer and two, our hurry to capture her on the lens before she disappears totally. Hence though the picture is blurred, it is funny coz of it. πŸ™‚

And deer, voooooo!too good. Do you thinkk she was in no mood to pose? Have a second look, what a fantastic pose that is, cross-legged like a folding table!

Thank you Savi! πŸ™‚ I thought of folding table too, looking at her legs! πŸ˜€ Yeah, unwittingly she posed! πŸ™‚

  9. wow a deer near your real life home..????

now thats what i call a place worth living in… !!!!

    geeez… lucky you !!

Please dont be mistaken – the houses in the background are not mine. Thats our walking route. Deers thrive in hordes here so muich so that destroy the landscaping of most families here! πŸ˜‰

We met with an accident because of Deer couple of months back. 😦 It was sad to see it die in the middle of the road even though our SUV got damaged a bit.

We have lots of Deers around.

😦 That’s sad! It happens at our place too, especially when in the night.
